Carmen Systems Conference on Operation Stability
   
       
 

From 30 June - 2 July, over 50 airline managers and industry specialists representing 17 airlines from five continents attended a conference on Operational Stability hosted by Carmen Systems.

The conference was held in Carmen's home city Göteborg, Sweden, and was a valuable opportunity for industry representatives to network and share their collective expertise on Operational Stability.

Presentations were provided from a variety of airlines including SAS, American Airlines, and British Airways.

Topics presented included:

  • Network planning and operational stability
  • Cooperating with competitors to improve overall passenger service
  • Aircraft uptime without business downtime
  • Long-haul perspectives on operational stability
  • How to balance the needs of the disrupted passenger against the needs of those customers yet to be disrupted
  • Stability improvement opportunities in planning and operations
