Carmen Systems, founded in Göteborg in 1994, was purchased by Boeing June 14, 2006. With this purchase, Carmen Systems became part of Jeppesen, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Boeing Commercial Aviation Services. Carmen Systems merged into Jeppesen's Commercial & Military Aviation business unit.

All of Jeppesen's planning, scheduling, optimization and disruption management business will be led from Göteborg.
