Managers on all levels in the area of IT and crew/fleet
operations. The course is relevant for clients that today are using Carmen's
planning tools or for clients that wish to learn more about the impact
of introducing advanced planning solutions.
After the course you will know more about how advanced
planning solutions work and how they can be used to constantly carry out
long-term planning, short-term planning and strategic analysis. You will
also know more about the organisational consequences in terms of increased
need / possibility for communicating key performance indicators and requirements
on a support function.

Cost and revenue factors that can be influenced with
better planning
- Using the resources more efficient.

- Constantly measure and benchmarking the operation.

Cost and quality control
- Measuring operational efficiency.
- Using Key Performance Indicators.
Using the system in an efficient manner
- Using the flexibility and short lead-times.
- Organisational requirements.
- IQ-visits.
Communicating the results
- Technical tools that makes communication easier.
- Sharing goals.
- Explaining planning results for crew members.
Simulations and prognosis
- Simulating changes in union agreements, base
structure, crew need, time table, fleet structure, etc.
- Simulating as a part of the planning process.
Copies of slides (can also be distributed electronically).
Demonstrations with a standard system or with the client's system, where
this is relevant. Material will be handed out during the course.
The course fee is 12 000 SEK per person (1 300 Euro, 1 600 USD), with a
minimum of two participants.
The course is given on request, and is not part
of the standard course schedule. To make it easier for the participants
to be open about the own organisation, the course is only scheduled with
participants from the same airline. (The course can be given for many
different clients upon requests, for example for managers within the same
alliance).
