Audience
This course addresses experienced Day of Operations Controllers with little or no knowledge of the Carmen Integrated Operations Control System (IOCS). The course also serves as a prerequisite for the Carmen Fleet Control and Carmen Passenger Recovery courses.

The course gives you a thorough introduction to IOCS. After completing the course you will be able to:

  • Understand the philosophy behind the Carmen IOCS.
  • Use the Carmen IOCS to monitor the flight operation of an airline.
  • Resolve the automatically generated operational alerts by doing direct changes to the flight operation.
  • Create disruption scenarios with the IOCS GUI and work out manual recovery options to these disruptions scenarios.

Prerequisites
Familiarity with manual recovery of the flight schedule on the day of operation.
