Jeppesen Systems is looking for Crew Planners with solid cockpit and cabin crew planning skills and a talent for professional customer relationships to provide high-quality rostering solutions in a timely fashion satisfying client requirements.

The position

You will be working on producing monthly rostering solutions in both bidlines and preferential bidding solving methods. Your strong analytical skills and industry knowledge will be essential in providing clients cost-effective high-quality solutions. Your ability to work independently, sense of initiative, and familiarity with rostering software allow you to be a key player from the start.

Professional qualifications

• You have excellent understanding of the crew planning problem, for both cockpit and cabin crew.
• You are familiar with both the Preferential bidding and the Bidline approach to creating crew rosters.
• You have at least 2 years of experience as a crew planner at a major airline (more than 10 airplanes)
• You are fluent in English
• You have an analytical approach to problem solving
• You are comfortable using sophisticated software programs to create rosters
• Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays
• Ability to adapt to changing deadlines

Assets

• You are multi-lingual, with a preference for Spanish and French
• You have a solid understanding of the airline business
• You have an interest in technology as well as human relations
• You have pairing analyst experience
• You have crew scheduling experience
• You have a good understanding of government aviation regulations
